That's right, I have died.
Not too sure what the cause is yet, but I suspect massive overloading at work may be to blame.
I should be finished now; if not, this week should be the final week of crunch time.
Otherwise, I'm just trying to get rested enough so that I can actually focus on something other than work.
Large-ish photo update should be arriving soon.
Last week was also NYAF/NYCC 2012. Honestly, I don't know why I stubbornly persist with appending NYAF to it - NYAF clearly died a couple years ago.
Heck, even the NewYorkAnimeFest.com URL is dead. It just redirects to a sub-page for the NYCC.
In any case, I attended unofficially last weekend and basically just hung out with friends.
Many thanks to for hanging out with me all weekend, and helping me through the baka security.
The con seems to have tightened up its badge checking procedure heavily this year, checking badges at the door of the con center, where previous years you could walk into the con center without much hassle, and badges were only checked upon attempting to enter con-related areas, such as the Dealers' Room, or the panel rooms.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact that the area outside the con center (besides being super cold on Friday) is pretty much pure construction work. Terrible.
If it's like this, I'm not sure if I want to even go unofficially next year, haha. Time will tell though.
Nevertheless, I did meet up with quite a few friends last week, and made some new ones as well.
I wasn't able to meet everyone, but I did have a blast with everyone I saw!
Next planned con on the horizon is likely going to be Katsucon 2013, but I may see about a couple shoots with friends over the holidays.
I hope to see everyone again soon!
